It all started out in the 1960s, when the company Willi Jaun GmbH was founded in a garage  based entirely on entrepreneurial and pioneering spirit. Initially run as a part-time job, success came quickly.  The first products were cylindrical boxes for the confectionary industry, such as a big sweets manufacturer from Bonn, a chocolate manufacturer from Salzburg or a famous German sherbert producer whose products feature a sailor. Aspiring for high quality, the inventor and company founder Willi Jaun (1940–2012) and his wife Erika (1941–2008), who was responsible for the commercial side, were only satisfied when everything was perfect. You can still feel this spirit both in the Jaun family and among the employees.

In den 1980s, deep-drawing was extended. The customer base grew quickly and the product range was constantly extended. Willy Jaun himself developed and patented some of the equipment, from devices for pattern generation up to a machine for series production. By this point, the company had already outgrown the garage and moved to another place. The company relocated to the present site in Gomaringen in 2006. There, the company, today is led by the second generation, Willy's son Karl-Peter Jaun, is constantly growing.
